DelRicht Research

Mandeville, LA

For this Site Spotlight, we’re excited to highlight Jenniffer Boone and Josh Ellison from DelRicht Research in Mandeville, LA.

DelRicht has been an incredible partner to 1nHealth, consistently standing out for their strong communication, innovative outreach practices, and the outstanding results they bring to every study. Their commitment to patients and passion for advancing clinical research shines through in everything they do, and we’re grateful to collaborate with such a forward-thinking team.

Part of what makes Jenniffer and Josh (and the rest of the DelRicht team) such great partners is not just the results they achieve, but the way they approach research; with creativity, care, and a true dedication to making the patient experience better.

To help you get to know them beyond the great work they do every day, we asked them a few rapid-fire questions about their roles, their perspectives, and what inspires them in clinical research. Here’s what they shared:

How do you ensure your referrals feel valued and understood when visiting your site?

We take a verbal medical and medication history and introduce patients to the PI on their very first visit—allowing them to be both literally and figuratively “seen” and “heard.” This small step makes a big difference. Instead of filling out a form in silence, patients are invited into a conversation about their health, where their experiences and concerns are acknowledged directly.

For example, when a patient mentions a medication or symptom they didn’t think was important, the PI can address it right away, reinforcing that their voice matters and their input shapes the trial. That kind of early engagement helps build trust, sets the tone for the rest of the study, and encourages patients to stay actively involved.

How does your site stay ahead of the curve in terms of industry best practices?

We’re committed to the patient experience. When patients feel valued and understand that their participation is directly contributing to our mission of moving medicine forward, they’re more likely to stay engaged. It’s not just about completing study visits—it’s about giving patients a sense of purpose and showing them that their involvement is essential to advancing future treatments. That sense of contribution often translates into higher retention and a stronger partnership throughout the trial.

How do the members of your team like to unwind after a busy day at work?

Our kids! We all have daughters (7 total) who compete in dance, cheer and volleyball. They keep us all very busy.

What’s a book or podcast you’d recommend to others and why?

We’re currently reading “The Effective Executive”. It teaches you to set objectives and gears you to produce results, and not just work.
