How do you ensure your referrals feel valued and understood when visiting your site?
We prioritize creating a sense of connection with patients as soon as we meet them in the clinic. Simple, comforting phrases such as “it’s great to finally put a face to the voice since we spoke on the phone” help patients feel more at ease and cared for.
Beyond that, it’s always important to tailor care to each individual’s unique needs. I firmly believe in exploring solutions and trying every possible avenue before saying, “No, that doesn’t seem possible.”
How does your site stay ahead of the curve in terms of industry best practices?
We actively participate in conferences and research coordinator trainings at our university and also maintain close communication with our partners to exchange insights and implement innovative strategies that enhance both efficiency and patient outcomes.
How do the members of your team like to unwind after a busy day at work?
Our mentors encourage us to share quick meals during our weekly or monthly meetings, which helps lighten the mood and foster connection through casual, uplifting conversations.
After hours, some of us enjoy spending time with family and friends, while others find relaxation through hobbies like baking, working out, or going for a walk.
What’s a book or podcast you’d recommend to others and why?
A book I would recommend is “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. It’s a practical and inspiring read on how small changes can lead to remarkable results—something that resonates with both our personal growth and our approach to continuous improvement as a team.
