We’re spotlighting the most important part of our work here at 1nHealth—our team. These are the folks who bring the energy, the ideas, and the spark to everything we do.
Up today: Alyssa Beck, 1nHealth’s Account Management Lead—who aligns timelines, catches curveballs, and ensures our campaigns flow smoothly from start to finish.
Discover the most fulfilling aspect of Alyssa’s job, what might surprise you about her day-to-day, and much more.
What's your current role at 1nHealth?
I’m the Account Management Lead. My job centers around nurturing relationships with our clients and finding creative ways to get them from FPI to LPI and beyond. No two studies–and no two sponsors–are the same, so I help identify and develop strategies that take into account their existing processes, limitations, and goals. My favorite part of the role is simple, though: communication. I love brainstorming with our project teams to find unique solutions, and then helping to communicate those plans to our clients in an easy-to-understand, data-backed format.
If someone shadowed you for a day, what would surprise them most about your job?
Honestly, how much I talk to (read: bother on Slack) just about every department at 1nHealth! I’m constantly leaning on folks from each project team for their expertise in their areas of work.
One of my favorite things about my job is taking all that know-how and helping to communicate and present it to our clients and partners in a way that makes sense and highlights how all the pieces work together to fill studies faster.
What’s a moment in your role that gives you a “this is why I do this” feeling?
Every trial is important, but mental health studies are especially near and dear to my heart. We’re currently supporting a postpartum depression study, and seeing the social media comments on our ads from real women whose lives are being changed by research really puts my job into perspective.
If we can help connect even one mom to a trial that could improve her well-being and allow her to enjoy time with her new baby, that’s worth every challenge we have to face along the way.

How do you relax and re-energize outside of work?
I grew up in the woods, but I didn’t really get into hiking and camping regularly until I met my husband. We both wanted to start exploring more but were nervous to start alone, so it was a perfect match.
One of my favorite hiking trails is a local one called El Calderon Trail, which follows a series of prehistoric lava tubes out to a cave where thousands of Mexican free-tailed bats fly out on summer nights. Seeing the bats lit up by the sunset and then hiking back to the trailhead after dark is truly magical.
What’s the most satisfying problem you’ve gotten to solve lately?
We recently wrapped a study on a semi-rare condition that has a very negative impact on patients’ quality of life. I worked with the project team to make some adjustments early on to how we were shepherding those patients from our digital advertisements to their first conversation with the site teams, and we saw a huge jump in the number of patients who got appointments scheduled.
When I sat back and thought about what those metrics meant—that more patients were getting quicker access to potential treatment AND that the site teams were a little less stressed about recruitment—it made me feel really, really good about what I do.
What’s something you’ve learned at 1nHealth that you think everyone should know—whether they work here or not?
The best kind of team is one where you feel comfortable sharing your out-of-the-box ideas. I believe that’s why 1nHealth is both a patient enrollment powerhouse AND an incredible place to work: we’re constantly trying new things because someone spoke up and offered a solution.
