Why I’m passionate about patient engagement: “I am deeply humbled and grateful for this honor. This award is important to me because of the recognition by my peers. It means that the work I’m doing as an advocate and servant leader is making a difference for all of us working in this field. As a patient and caregiver myself, I know firsthand that every minute matters in drug development. The more value we can attach to the positive effect that patient input has on improving and accelerating clinical research, the better.”
